Biden calls Bush's remarks about appeasement 'bulls--t'
You can never say that Sen. Joe Biden isn't willing to call it like he sees it!
From CNN Congressional Producer Ted Barrett
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations
Committee, Joe Biden, called President Bush's comments Thursday suggesting Sen.
Barack Obama and other Democrats want to appease terrorists "bulls--t."
He added that if the president disagrees so strongly with the idea of talking to Iran, then he needs to fire his secretaries of state and defense, both of whom, Biden said, have pushed to sit down with the Iranians.
"This is bulls--t. This is malarkey. This is outrageous. Outrageous for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, sit in the Knesset ... and make this kind of ridiculous statement." Biden, D-Delaware, said angrily in a brief interview just off the Senate floor.
"He's the guy who's weakened us. He's the guy that's increased the number of terrorists in the world. His policies have produced this vulnerability the United States has. His intelligence community pointed that out, not me. The NIE has pointed that out.
"And what are you talking about, is he going to fire (Secretary of State) Condi Rice? Condi Rice has talked about the need to sit down. So his first two appeasers are Rice and (Secretary of Defense Robert) Gates. I hope he comes. home and does something."
He quoted Gates as saying Wednesday that U.S. officials "need to figure out a way to develop some leverage and then sit down and talk with them."

Hey Roland!!
I just love your commentary! I never tell you that when I'm commenting!
I agree with Sen. Biden. I also love the way Nancy Pelosi handled the situation with her remarks!! Bush should be ashamed! What about the fact that his own Great Grandfather laundered money for the Nazis???

Remember when Biden described Obama as the first black candidate who was "clean and articulate"? Talk about bullshit...
It's easy to be on the right side when it comes to criticizing G.W.B., but let's not forget that this guy isn't exactly our friend.

Bush who? The Worst President in History?
Oh, the same Bush who's overall job approval is holding steady at 22% as 68% of Americans say the national economy is in a recession...
A total of 54% of Americans say their personal financial situations are getting worse, up from 46% in March and up from 31% a year ago.
This same Bush who:
1. Has sent troops out to fight a fictional war against Iraq.
2. Didn't even win the popular vote, or electoral (Florida).
3. He is the only President to enter office with a criminal record (theft, drunk driving, disorderly conduct).
4. Sent troops to fight in over 10 countries while in office (only one which we are at war with).
5. Since this time last year, he has managed to lose 445 billion dollars.
6. While in office, Bush has lost the country nearly 5 million jobs.
7. 80% of his funds come from big corporations, who then make most of his decisions. (GM, Previously Enron)
10. Bush has found 0 weapons of mass destruction, but has spend billions of dollars on the "war" with Iraq.
George W. Bush has intentionally misled the Congress and the public regarding the threat from Iraq in order to justify a war against Iraq, in violation of Title 18 United States Code, Section 1001 and intentionally conspired with others to defraud the United States in connection with the war against Iraq in violation of Title 18 United States Code, Section 371; and
George W. Bush has admitted to ordering the National Security Agency to conduct electronic surveillance of American civilians without seeking warrants from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review, duly constituted by Congress in 1978, in violation of Title 50 United States Code, Section 1805;
and George W. Bush has conspired to commit the torture of prisoners in violation of the UN Torture Convention and the Geneva Convention, which under Article VI of the Constitution are part of the "supreme Law of the Land"
George W. Bush has acted to strip Americans of their constitutional rights by ordering indefinite detention of citizens, without access to legal counsel, without charge and without opportunity to appear before a civil judicial officer to challenge the detention, based solely on the discretionary designation by the President of a U.S. citizen as an "enemy combatant", all in subversion of law
In all of this George W. Bush has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President, subversive of constitutional government to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice, and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.
This same George W. Bush, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States.
With a record as abysmal as this, I say "Dubya" is more fitting of NAZI status.. talk about the pot calling the kettle ..black!!

Let's not forget the devastation of the NCLB act. Teacher's teaching to a test. This one will haunt us for generations to come. Record numbers of students who desire to go to college having to take remedial classes in college because they didn't learn in highschool.
Americans are too quickly lulled to sleep with American Idol and the behavior of trashy women in hollywood only to wake up to a $300 government check we are told to "git to Walmart and spend that check because the economy needs a boost". We are paying dearly for it now.

mmmmmmm duly noted Nic. You made me recall that incident with Sen. Biden.
I would put his comments regarding Sen. Obama in the same context as the bitter comments that Sen. Obama made. We have to get a better understanding of each others cultural differences in doing so it will enable the country to elevate our communication with each other.

Words have no meaning until somebody believes the words.
Check out these words:
"There is a bomb inside this house, please evacuate immediately"
Those are ONLY words until somebody believes them. Once you believe the words, they take on some meaning, and they begin to influence your behaviors, your actions, your fears, your expectations, etc, etc.
Words coming from Bush mean NOTHING to any RATIONAL human being in ANY part of the current world stage, because the man is a complete idiot. There are more rational Americans than irrational animals who think like Bush. If not, America would have been like Odua Jungles and Banana Republics by now.
McCain is becoming like Bush too. By the time this impending general election is over, McCain will be worse than Bush in the eyes of 99% of Americans. Mark my words here!

Bush is bushman, a coward, a drunkard, who has never produced anything in his miserable life on this earth. Every business he managed flopped because he got no brain to do anything right. He was the best friend of the Yoruba war criminal called Obasanjo.
Obasanjo committed unspeakable atrocities and genocides against the black populations in Nigeria. Andrew Young is the best friend of Obasanjo. Bush and Andrew Young have one thing in common: They are self-serving animals like Obasanjo.
There is a well-documented book by a scholar who claims that excellent and bad leaders come into the world scene during the same period in history. If you look at the historical figures, you will begin to see a pattern – the good leaders come out at the same time while the bad leaders also come out in the same period of time to rule their respective nations. Hitler, Mussolini, and Pinochet ruled in the same period. Bush, Obasanjo, and Saddam ruled in the same period.

Why is this man still president? He is such an embarrassment to this country....
Posted by: Pagee | May 15, 2008 at 07:13 PM
I want to know also, why is this man gotten away with doing so much harm to our country? We are stupid, no, excuse me, I didn't vote for him. I knew he was the devil. He was not in office long, and we had 911. It's been downhill from there. It's time for us to stopping talking and do something about it now. How did he become the President with a DUI? You can't get some jobs with a DUI. His rotten ass can't tell or say anything that I want to hear!!!!! He is gonna get his do, thousands of them, and he has the nerves to talk about someone.

How “Bush's Grandfather Helped Hitler's Rise to Power” ~~~~~~~~
Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today's president ~~~~~~~~

This article appeared in the Guardian on Saturday September 25 2004. ~~ It was last updated at 23:59 on September 24 2004. ~~~~~~~~~
George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany. ~~~~
The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism. ~~~~~~~~
His business dealings, which continued until his company's assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave labourers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy. ~~~~~~~~~
The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator's action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy. ~~~~~~~~~~
The debate over Prescott Bush's behaviour has been bubbling under the surface for some time. There has been a steady internet chatter about the "Bush/Nazi" connection, much of it inaccurate and unfair. But the new documents, many of which were only declassified last year, show that even after America had entered the war and when there was already significant information about the Nazis' plans and policies, he worked for and profited from companies closely involved with the very German businesses that financed Hitler's rise to power. It has also been suggested that the money he made from these dealings helped to establish the Bush family fortune and set up its political dynasty ~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are a number of articles on the web regarding Grandfather Bush's' Hitler connection. I have no confirmation of evidence but the situation is thought. provoking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Americans, especially republicans and uneducated whites, are in a bubble of ignorance. These people will do anything to sound tough and to try to win another election. Even McShame is ignorant and hateful and full of cow manure.
